Gemma Fowler

Forest of Dean-based illustrator, Gemma Fowler, has been practising her
skills in illustration for several years. Whilst being a wife and mother to two beautiful boys she helped to support the family by working in retail and set up her own business as a Childminder.

However, once Gemma’s children were in school full-time she decided to return to her passion, illustration. It was when Gemma was younger and attended the Royal Forest of Dean College studying Art and Design that she knew she was determined to be an illustrator and it is only now that she is fulfilling those dreams.

Currently, Gemma is halfway through her degree in Visual Communications and has completed four units of the degree. These are Illustration: key steps, Graphic Design Core Concepts, Illustrations Sketchbooks and Responding to a Brief.
